At We to Play, we specialise in bringing the unique and compelling works of playwright Callum Murray and others to the stage. Our passion for theatre drives us to deliver powerful performances that captivate, entertain and inspire.

Which plays are in production?

We are working on several of Callum Murray's latest plays:

  • Unfriend Me You Fiend, a comedy of social media manners, misunderstandings and misinterpretations
  • Outlandish!, a mischievous, musical subversion of the myth of Bonnie Prince Charlie and Flora Macdonald
  • The Thousand Days, a satire set in a cycling team at the dawn of the EPO doping scandal
  • Rebel Rebel, a musical comedy tracing the parallel tales of two rebellions: Jack Cade’s Rebellion of 1450; and a modern-day climate change protest
  • Here Comes Your Ghost Again, an intense two-hander about a relationship haunted by the ghost of a former lover
  • Chelsea Girls, a comic, imaginative, musical retelling of the story of how Joan Baez and Judy Collins used the counter-cultural platforms they had already built to introduce Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen to the world
